First night in Taipei

Hehe. as promised entries on my TAIWAN trip!
sad to say, i failed to do a shopping post, because
i was too busy shopping instead of doing the snapping job.
WOPS. my bad my bad >w<

due to the location of the accommodation in taiwan,
it's a decent distance for us to walk on our foot to
ximending :) so we tried that upon our arrival to TAIPEI!
em, in the end, we needed help from the locals to find
our way there. they are so helpful, thanks auntie uncle:)

my dearest mami, @ximending street:)

the first food we've tried. the fried mushroom.
em, yar, it seems like taiwan food which is deep fried would
put some [magic powder] to spice them up,
apparently, this aunty's magic powder is kinda salty.
but still, it's taste great,
perhaps i was famished?

mami feeding me, while i took photos.

then we continue sourcing my main motive there,
ah zhong mian xian, asked a few people.
and finally, found them! omg! haha.
it would be great, if it's snowing, and to have a bowl of mian xian,
damn! :)

review of ah zhong mian xian.
ps, i only ate two bowls of mian xian at taipei,
so i assume it's not that much accurate, so don't judge me,
cause it's just purely how i felt.

a bit over rated. like every blog which i've been through during
the homework for taipei trip said that it's a must! a star place to go..
it's simple, not too salty, not too thick, best when you add more vinegar.
better than the one i had at the underpass. :)
about 4star ? :)

mom feeding me again,
awwww. i am so touched.

when mami's feeding me, i heard two ladies who seat in front
of me, saying that my mami is super caring.
Ohman, of course lah! she's my MOTHER ley!

ai yu, cause we are damn damn damn thirsty.
Ow... I love you AIYU! :)

The Hong lou. seems to be a attraction at ximending,
but we couldn't care less since the main subject is
SHOPPING, thus, snapped and go.

vibrant ximending. awesome shopping paradise!

camwhored at hong lou, check out the red bricks:D haha

while waiting for the traffic :)

OHOHOH! a note to take note for people who are planning to go taiwan.
when you're planning to cross the road,
you've got to double confirm the coast is clear before you step your leg on
the road, because the drivers there seems to be frigging eager to get to
their destination, they would just zoom in front of you, despite of the fact
that green man is shown. so ya. do check the traffic first:)

waiting for auntie to get it done. can't wait!!!
yeah. finally served!
Ai jia mai, ? haha
mami eating it too, despite of the fact that she said that it was
too smelly like the toilet. haha!

this shop is recommended! was being introduced by
a blogger who seems to be the regular customer there.

ordered this bowl of nice cooling dessert.
totally forget about the name of it. damn, i am aging!
but i could remember the taste.
the red bean are sweet, i am saying the natural sweetness,
not those sugar or extra emmm, sugar cube. haha.
it's soft, but not to the extend whereby it turns to be mash.
just right:)
the ju luo or ju ruo, i forget how you call it, was the magical thing
that made it so so so addictive, it's a bit of sourish and soft, :)
with ice, omg, it just is a heaven for people like me:)
admiring in progress. the colors, so appealing right?
mami feeding me again and again, :)
i buay zi dong, buay sai ah?!
see, now she wanna feed you with some leftover. want!?

our one way ticket.

another note to share with you peeps.
cause i heard from a random blogger saying that these tickets
are required to be insert into the gate, so i urge my mami
to look out for it when we are at the gate. high and low, but no
hole was found, desperately, i placed my token near the card
sensor, and 'di' the gate was opened. ... =.="
so it was a wrong info, you only insert the token upon exiting
not entering. so remember, don't be like us, malu nia nia!~

a stop to go. we were too tired to walk with bags of loots :)

see... scary ba?

we placed our loots in the room,
and back to the street for some exploring.
sad to say, many of the shops around us
were closed. :<

their preparation work for the 双十节.
cool :)

in the end, no choices. but to explore 7-11 since
it was the only shop which is still opening in progress.

bought taiwan beer. naise!
:) iron egg and some chewy gum.

loots :)

some unglam pictures took in the hotel room.

铁蛋for supper :)
mixed the two together and Wow, what a weird taste:)
my expression. TAHAHA.
experiment #beer with 铁蛋,failed. :)

em. end my first day in taipei post here.
:)
would upload tomorrow if i have the energy.
meanwhile. don't miss me.
